If you are a fan of early funny cars, you will be very happy to know that the altered wheelbase Nova Rat Packer has just been released! You can get them from Hobby Heaven and Model King. They are a limited release so if you want one you may have to act now!
In addition, we can expect a re release of the early AMT Hemi Under Glass along with an altered wheelbase Ford Falcon and Pontiac Tempest! Yeah baby!
I can now have my very own Funny Car Reunion.

P.S. We need some drag racing stuff in this here racin' section.

I don't build alot of drag cars, but I wouldn't mind having the Falcon and the Tempest.

Ahhhh, the A/FX cars! I remember them fondly. I remember a certain team that had a rear engined Corvair called Just 4 Chevy Lovers. I bought the Hemi Cuda kit and put a corvair body on it. Used dry transfer letters to do the name. Pretty "high tech stuff" for it's day. Thanks for jogging that memory!

Don't have a firm release date yet. Supposedly "later" this year. I'll post when they are announced officially

What is your favorite funny car model? Growing up my hero was Gene Snow, so all the cars of his are my favorite, the Johan "Rambunctious" Challenger, the Revell Snowman Chargers and Vega's in both 1/25th and 1/16th scale, and the Polar Lights Charger. I also have decals to make the blue Snowman Charger that Jake Johnston drove and for the digger that Chip Woodall drove.

How about some Mopar altered wheelbase cars. The Dick Landy Dart would be great.

I think that my head would explode if a major company would release an a.w.b.
Mopar! Good news for '65 Dodge fans though. Polar lights has promised a new '65 Dodge before the end of this year. You'll have to alter the body yourself or maybe combine with a resin body.
