The kit is basically the chassis used in the Dodge Inteprid kit with the new Monte Carlo body. Looks like a few detail parts have been added but doesn't compare to previous generation Revell-Monogram stock cars.

was hoping it would be a full redoo of the 2000 monte kit not a simplified pro finsh that gets screwed together. means if you want to get detailed you will have to modify the 2000 chasis. that sucks! Angry

Whether it sucks or not look at the bright side. It's something new! Which has been very scarce the last few years. Besides they did a very decent job on the 2003 body style.

Just picked up the Concert tribute car that Jr. drove at Daytona last July the body is all one peice, no valances or bumpers to put on but the motor looks kind of generic, everything else looks really detailed, cage, frame and the decals look awesome, kind of have it sitting on the shelf, painted the body, and started another project

finally found one on saturday, body is nice, windows are pre-decorated, great job on the new seat, but it is very simplified, guess it won't take as long to build, chasis is grey already and body is primered. just a question of it becoming jimmie's or jr's car.
