1/25 nascar Decals
Posted by macross on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 5:25 PM

Looking to find some 1/25th scale decals for Matt Kenseth's 2003 Ford Taurus and Jimmie Johnson's 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. I checked out the slixx decal website but they only appear to have decals for 1/24th kits. The kits in question are the new AMT/ERTL Nascar kits

Revell just released their 2003 Lowes Jimmie Johnson Monte Carlo kit. It contains the new body style for 2003 (the first one released) and the decals are not bad. You paint the entire body blue and the remainder of the markings (including all of the silver) is part of the decal sheet. Looks like solv-a-set will come in handy on this one. As far as Slixx, they have decals for last years Lowes car as well as 2002 Power of Pride paint scheme and the new 2003 Power of Pride markings. They also have numerous markings for Matt Kenseth and some of the different paint schemes that he had last year. The difference in scale should not make a noticeable difference at all.

I went to a "gentleman's club" because the sign said they had all the hottest models. I thought it was a hobby shop. Man, was I ever disappointed.
