Yes I like it, I absolutely like it. It looks very very good, you did a great job. I'm guessing this is the Tamiya kit, is this correct?

Some of my long time friends would say that if you placed any kind of Mercedes in front of me in any condition I'd like it.Blush

You obviousley haven't seen any of my daily drivers, my prevoius one was a '75 240D, matt black with flames.......
Great model above, cpnhp!! This is one of those cars that look a300mph standing still. (If I squat my eyes a bit, I can actually see yours moving....)
Great job!

cpnhp, it really is a beautiful job that you did! Thanks for posting the photos. The detail shot is a little confusing but thanks for posting it too. Would you be kind enough to post some more photos? Very nice build indeed!

littlemoe,
The backdrop is a wierd bedsheet my wife had in the closet. I just draped it over a stack of model boxes.

also, sorry about the detail shot, its the best i could get.
thanks

Very nice. For me that would be a decal nightmare, main thing that always kept me away from modern race cars. great job, I definatly like it!

lizardqing2, this may take all the purity out of it but I've never been much of a decal person myself. It just messes up the looks of the car. Don't put them on! Maybe just a number but not much, if anything, more. Besides why spoil a nice paint job.

This in no way is meant to demean your build cpnhp, or any of you other builders that have done all the decal stuff. The whole idea of modeling is to model something that is real and make it as real as possible. You have done an incredible job cpnhp, you others have as well.

Just my opinion
