I do have to tell you this:

I got to drive one of those monsters in controlled Conditions. I felt like I had someone tail gating me with the wing legs! Now I know what Dad felt like in his 59 Caddy. Took a while for my equilibrium to settle. Can you say Seat Slammin Power??

I had a 1968 427 corvette back in the day . That was my introduction and exit from seat slammin power. It was fun and scary at the same time.

Finally finished all the decal images. I need to put them on a sheet to print on paper to check that I sized them correctly. One or two end up being a little too big or a little too small.

Retroe , I have no idea, but I would think that if the old adobe program im using works okay for a brothers ink jet printer and now an hp laser printer I would guess that the one your talking about should work just fine for any printer you want to use. That sounds like an excellent price.

Finally got the decal sheets finished to where they are sized right. I didnt know if I was going to get it done. This wil be the last decals I make with this old computer and 20 year old program. The program kept telling me that my scratch disk was full and wouldnt let me proceed. It said i needed to clean up some space on my scratch disk . the only trouble is there was plenty of space on the scratch disks. I could only use certain things like lines and color changes but it wouldnt let me use the brush function and it wouldnt let me use the copy and paste function either, which is highly important when making decals. I guess i'm going to have to purchase a new program to use with my windows 10 computer . does anyone out there have any suggestions for a good one thats not so expensive and is easy to learn. If not my decal making days are over.

Good news. I did a little research on google and it turns out, im not the only person who has had trouble with photo deluxe and photo shop. It turns out these programs create a lot of hidden temp files that eventually make the program un workable. some one posted a video how to find those files and delete them . Once I did, I got my program back working like a charm.  Glad I didnt buy a new program to have to learn.

Started on the engine. I'm going to turn a 440 into a 340. the 440 was kitbashed from an amt 71 dodge kit. i just need to narrow the width of the engine by sanding an angle to the heads to make them sit up more and then cut the block in half, sand it to make it 1/16 of an inch shorter then the 440 block. this will make the engine I end up with look like a 340 instead of a 440. Well at least thats the plan. Plus the engine is solid black except for the aluminum intake manifold so that will make it look smaller as well. Im cutting the transmission off the hemi that comes in the daytona kit to put on the 440 which has an automatic on it.

top picture is a 440 bottom is 2 340's. you can see how much wider the 440 is but its not really that much longer. 1/16 inch on the model.

Retroe, Its the HP  Color Laser Jet Pro M254dw. I got it back during Christmas when it was like a hundred bucks off at Office depot. Its the one that micro mark is offering along with the Ghost White toner cartidge which actually costs more then the printer. I ended up getting the Toner from micro mark just because Ive ordered from them before . I could have saved like 20 bucks from us cutter  but I have never ordered from them before and didnt want to take the chance that a might have a problem with them.

Might just leave those off. I did however, put it at the angle I wanted it at. It would have created lift if it had been flush with the side supports, and that would not do at all, at 190, or whatever these cars could get to.
