Beautiful job.  What a beast. As I recall Ford was still running the full size Galaxy in 65 but the Mopars were the B body mid size.

Yes, but not till close to the end of the season. And the chrysler cars had to run smaller displacement then the fords. Then in 66 the fords and chevys went to the smaller cars as well.  But not till later in that season.

That looks AWESOME!  Really looks the part of a stock car for sure.  I love it, a rare model to build as a stocker.  Do you have any photos of down from eye level?

Beautiful build!

no, what would be normal eye level as you look at a car.  Your first image, the side view is at eye level......Kinda like this...

Very cool old stocker, Mark. The big Chevy looks great dressed up for the track. You did a great job on this one. Love it.

Thanks Trevor. I always wanted to do this one but it had so much white script on it, it would have been a real bear without the new decal system.

MarkJ, that is it, those photos look so cool, the car looks great hunkered down and ready for a butt whoopin on the field.  Love that raked rear view, the coolest one that you have done yet!

Yup, I agree. The low angle shots look wicked.

outstanding build - great tribute to a great driver. Paschal is the winningist retired driver not in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. His car was owned by Tom Freidkin who also owned IndyCars and a stock car driven by Jerry Grant. Friedkin made his fortune importing this strange japansese brand of car called Toyota

Thanks for that info Kevracer. I wondered how he made his money. Also thanks for the kind words about the model.
