1991 Corvette ZR-1!

Greetz and Blessings y'all!

Here is my next build, this time it is a promo model of a 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 made by AMT/Ertl and detailed by me! I painted the rim "holes", interior, and the door handles flat black. Then detailed the front side light lenses and painted the brake light red. Then painted the backup lights white and the rear license plate areas black and then added the license plate. See that! :D

Enjoy the pics and be blessed!

Wow, excellent build and the paint is spectacular. are you sure you didnt just take a 1:1 vette  down size it and copy and paste it onto a picture of your pool surround?

Nice work, looks amazing.

I'm currently building a 58 vette, and filling it with zr1 stuff.

Very nice job, Jesse.

I owned a '91 ZR-1 for 10 years.  It was a magnificent beast to drive....especially after some necessary modifications and upgrades I gave it:  brakes upgraded to better drilled, slotted rotors and better caliper/pad set;  ported and polished upper engine intake/heads;  4:10 rear end so the 6th gear could be used on the highway; window tint needed while living in Las Vegas;  better timing chain tensioners;  3" Borla SS exhaust...etc.

I will put some pics up if I can remember how.  I use Fotki, but I don't see the upload choices I used in the past. ?? The instructions have disappeared somewhere...but I'll try this direct URL. C'MON, SAE, YOU GOTTA DO BETTER THAN THIS.  Don't make me feel like I wasted my money on another subscription after 30 years of stacking these mags.

Ok.  I guess it doesn't show.  I'll try one more.
