1991 Bill Elliot Coors Light car
Posted by ajniner94 on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 7:36 AM

I recently picked up Bill Elliot's 1991 Coors light car.  Even though this model is older, i saw two at the show i was at, and multiple online listings making me think that many people have built it.  The instructions are for the Coors car.  Those of you that dont know the Coors car is the one he drove in the 80's and is red.  I would love to see some pictures of peoples builds for color references.  For example, the instructions say to paint the bottom of the chassis white.  That seems strange to me.  Any help and tips are appreciated!

I don't know about the Bill Elliot car but Biil "Grumpy; Jenkins painted the bottoms of his cars and even inside the wheel wells white. It made it easier to spot issues and easier to see when working on the car. Maybe Elliot's team had the same idea.

When buying a kit and looking at building, I always do a Google search for that model/kit/car to get idea's of colours etc.
