Webber or Solex carburetors
Posted by ditdah54 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 8:43 AM

Has there ever been a detailed kit that used Webber or Solex side draft carburetors?

Thanks, Ed

Tamiya MkII Jaguar, the racing version, has 3 nicely done twin throat Webers, and also have a look at thepartsbox.com for their Webers.  I'm sure there will be other sources as well.  Cheers

Surprisingly, those in AMT's  old Craig Carter Camaro kit are pretty nice ones.

I build replicas of imaginary race cars.

El Corvette Grand Sport de Acuratte en 1/24 trae 4 carburadores Weber laterales de doble boca, de buen detalle y calidad.

Kit-based, I like the ones in the Accurate Miniatures Grand Sport Corvettes, but my favorite Webers, both sidedraft (P-11A) and downdraft (P-11B) come from Replicas & Miniatures of Md. They have very delicate velocity stacks included and cost a lot less than raiding an AM kit. HTH.
