I'm going to build this one which is a real departure for me! I don't know anything about Ferraris but I may have seen one or two in the west Houston Galleria area - not this one of course! I don't build foreign and exotic and it is also very unusual for me to pop for an expensive kit like this. Although I got a discount, with the paint and shipping, it was still more than $60. I haven't spent that kind of money on a kit almost ever. I bought kits from two different modelers for $50 each when they were down on their luck and needed the money. That was years ago.

But I read the December issue of SA by Mark Jones and it was quite interesting. So here I go with a new challenge! First, I have to finish a 57 Chevy and then I'll get started! Thanks for looking! Cool

Thanks, Mike, Aussie and McLovin! I appreciate your comments! Yes, I have built a couple of Tamiya kits and have been pleased with how well they go together. But my pocketbook can't afford it.  Just like I prefer and can afford to drive a Dodge or Chevrolet vs. a Lexus or BMW. Thanks for looking! Cool
