I found this Heller 512 at a model swap meet. I though it was a great build

and was very happy that it was a very detailed piece.

That looks very good. Seems to have a nice shine on it and the decal seems to have covered the red very well.

Thanks Mike I always do a base coat then decals with a clear coat of Nason over the top.

That 512 looks good. What is Nason...a brand of clear coat?

Been a member since 2005. Had to reup after they made their change over in 2013

Nason is a cheaper brand of Dupont, automotive paint and clear coat. I prefer using it with a drop of hardener and it sets up faster so i can apply more coats evener. Thanks for the question.
