I built this car a few years ago but never shared it here in the forum, no real reason, just forgot. I hope you all do not mind me sharing it now (?).

The original kit had around 30 parts, this one now has over 230 parts. The original kit was more "toy" like, with a electric motor (inside the engine case) and batteries where the cockpit is now. Every kit part was modified in some way. The entire front suspension and bulkhead, cockpit, rear suspension, exhaust, and majority of the engine was scratch built based on web research. Materials used included brass rod, aluminum tubing, plastic sheet and tube, solder, lead foil, hardware store parts, hobby lobby jewelry parts, etc.

Michael from "Indycals" worked with me to produce the decals. He still sells them now in various scales. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Basically, you created a model kit, short of doing the body. What an incredible job you did.
