I've done 1/43rd scale models but never done one with decals. I sure like yours. I would assume that getting those decals placed precisely is more difficult in that scale

It wasn't really hard to position the decals. But the tire decals were a little more tricky, but not really too bad. The thing is that these old kits have decals that usually tend to break up. The big blue/red stripe decals broke in the middle and the decal on top of the wing split in two. But I was able to position them without any further breakage. But I had to soak them much longer than I did with a fresh Revell kit I recently completed.
