Built box stock, not much in the way of detail, steering at the front and just a transmission at the back and a metal rod axle joining the two wheels together. But a good PE sheet and good decals are included.

Hi Patrick, is that the Fujimi kit? By the way, nice solid build....

Very cool build, Patrick. This is my personal favorite of the racing GT-40s, and one I plan to build myself, someday. This thing just looks pure mean in black. It must have been a real stunner back in the day.

Interesting box art, too. I have about 9 or 10 of these Fujimi GT-40s in the stash, but haven't seen box art like that.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

I'll agree with Bainford. I love these in black. Just gives it a more aggressive and sinister look. Beautiful build.

Fabulous.  I love GT-40's and your model is a great clean representation of the vehicle.

Great job Pat!  Like I said before, I can't believe these cars were designed and built 50 years ago because they still look like something from the future today.  That is the only car I have ever known that didn't look antiquated to me after 10 years.  Your build looks great.  Didn't I read on another forum that you didn't paint it?  How'd you get it so shiney?

I can't find that box anywhere.. think this is the same kit for us Americans?

Thanks jchrisf. The body came ready polished in the box. When researching this car I came across about five or six different box arts that Fujimi used to market this kit, plus various sizes of diecast versions as well.
