1/12 Ferrari F40 Conversion
Posted by DRUMS01 on Sunday, June 17, 2018 3:49 PM

Started with the basic Monograhm kit and made some changes: Modified the front lights, hood intake, rear spoiler, etc. to convert it from the basic F40 to an F40LM racer. Complete rework of the interior to iniclude full carbon fiber, flocked seat, numerous black boxes, fuse box, seat harness, radio kit. In front I added detail to the radiator to include hoses and clamps. Supedetailed engine with full plumbing. Scratch built a rear defuser and racing exhaust system. Replaced the kit wheels and tires with staggered size resin BBS style mesh wheels. The paint and sponsor are made up and not of an actual car which raced.

F40s do look rather nice all race prepped ! Big Smile

Those BBS deep set rears are delicious .

Any chance you could 'pop the hood' so to speak & show off all the detailing ..?

Unfortunately I cannot open the rear deck. The typical badly warped body, like on most of these, meant I had to seal it up for the allignment of the body panels. I'll see what I can do on a photo....

Excellent race conversion. The livery may be ficticious, but it certainly conveys the period race vibe very well. It's a shame the rear deck can't be opened, what with all that engine detailing under there. All in all an awesome race car. Very impressive.

Man...It is flat awesome when a builder takes the intuitive in hand and builds a CAR for the Track from a street car. This is a prime example of planning and and making a TEAM of your own. This way cool Drums01. GREAT job...

How much do you think it takes to restore a 1992 Ferrari F40. It is in terrible condition due to it having engine problems making it burn the body down UK Essay Help. So how much do you think it would take if I was to pay a professional restorer to take on this project?

Genuinely, Italeri provides us a kit that, as soon as completed, is virtually a beautiful and shocking version due to its length, we are not conversant in seeing a fiat 500 in 1/12 scale. There is very little to be modified or progressed to make the most of it. Lamentably, some construction steps are not clear to understand and the instructions aren't continually clear | This is info source by Affordable Essay Writing Services.

Looks really good! I have a 1/12 Protar kit of an F40 that I still haven't built yet. I didn't know Monogram had one too.

Too many models to build in a lifetime.

Well done DRUMS01! Superb! The sort of conversion I like to do.

Yet another car I saw on the road and track during my 25 years marshalling at Silverstone!

Ferrari F40 is a great model of Ferrari. This one is not real which use in sports race. This is a replica of the model. Children like to play with toy cars. Students also play different games in an academic career. Students ask a question write my essay UK   to fix the problems of assignment.
