Soapy Sales Dodge Challenger 1/25 MPC Funny Car complete

I finished my first funny car and third model.  I really like the look of funny cars and they are a lot of fun and satisfying to build because they look so cool inside and out.  I love building the engines and applying decals the most and this car allowed me to enjoy both.  Going to have to get some more funny cars but they are hard to find.

YesSmile, Wink & Grin  x a bazillion ! Beautiful & perfectly done .

I never knew there was a '73/74 Challenger funnycar kit !

Another one for my list of Mopar Floppers then ..... Indifferent

Look for Lindberg & Polar Lights kits  (Maybe " Round two " now do them)

( I have a '68 Barracuda "Big John Mazmanian" version  , a '68 Charger "Mr Norm's" - now in the parts box... Crying  and a '70 Duster "Cop Out " that now has much better decals .... and minus the police lights ! Surprise)

Good luck on your quest for kits ....

Thanks Spencer... I got this one at Hobby Lobby about a month ago.  It was the last one on the shelf.  I went back to get another this weekend because I enjoyed this one so much and wanted to try it again with what I know now since it is only my third model.  They still didn't have any on the shelf.  It is a MPC (Round 2) kit.

I past up a Tom McEwen kit that was a mustang funny car because I didn't like the box art but just saw one built on a tribute to Tom because of his death yesterday and it looks really good built.  I'll be going back to get that one.

Very nice, clean build. Looks great.

Very sad to hear about Tom McEwen. R.I.P. Tom

Not wishing to take over here , but Tom was one of my first heros in the '70's when I was a lil nipper .

All be it in 1:64th scale Smile, Wink & Grin

Rest well Sir !

I think my Cop Out Duster might be getting a respray & new decals now !

Thanks Bainford... I appreciate it.

Spencer... I picked this one up today.  Didn't like the box art as I said above but after seeing it built on another forum I decided to get it at HL for $19 with coupon.
