Tamiya Takata NSX Completed!
Posted by 80'NascarCollector on Thursday, May 31, 2018 7:12 AM

During this long and cold winter, I decided to re-start making models.
I setup a new place in my garage. Bought new paint, brushes etc...
I always loved NSX racing car, they look great, had this one laying around for awhile now and now finaly its done!
I used Tamiya spray paint

Another tasty machine. Very cool looking car.

Oh man I love IMSA cars.  This one looks great!  What paint did you use?  And clear coat?

don't remember the exact color #, but its all Tamiya spray can. White, Green and clear coat. I did not buff it out neither.

Tip with Tamiya paint in spray can: heat it up just a bit. Paint will be smooth out nicer....and you get little more presure from the can.

Thanks for the tip and information.  I just ordered a bunch of Tamiya paint and Tamiya models from ActivePowersports.  They have some great prices but I found out after I ordered that some of the stuff is on backorder and they can't ship until the end of June.  That is how they save on cost and pass down the great prices.

Oh this one is also my favorite, but what if it won't work so good as the last time? My friend from best paper writing services bought it last year and he didn't like the result at all - wrong color and the quality wasn't good at all. well I think it wasn't that paint at all and it was a mistake, but who knows, I see the result, and it wasn't good at all. Maybe you can suggest anything? That is really important, as I don't like any other paint brand at all, and will take a long time to take another cool brand for me. What other brands can you recommend?

I like Tamiya paint, i almost only use them. Spray paint dry nicely and fast. I do have an airbrushed, but never use it lol

When building car from Tamiya, look at the paint # references on the instruction. Carefull taping when doing multiple colors. All in the preparation.
