Thanks, Gary and Chucky. They now offer a resin body of the nascar toyota but it is a lot different than the arca toyota and the arca toyota is the one I have the inspiration to build. So thats why this is my new project. It should be a one of a kind build. So far its coming along better than I thought it would.

Ok, guys the front end is done as far as scratchbuilding goes. Hopefully the primer surfacer will meld the putty and styreen together for a nose that looks some what like an ARCA Toyota. I need to make a rear panel body guage and print it on address label paper so I can do the same thing for the rear of the car I did for the front.

Still following along. Nice bit of sculpting there. Appreciate the WIP photos.

Starting on the rear now. I made my body guage and printed it on address label paper so I could stick it right on the model to make the cutting easier.

I cut the pieces and layered them right from a photo of the real car sized to 1/25 scale.

I'm going to say that the rear panel is done. This is a super speedway car. Thats why the rear bumper looks different than the cars you will see tonite at Nashville, if you watch the race live on MAVTV, at 9 pm eastern time.

The quarter glasses on the Toyota are different from the chevy so I will have to change them.

Gary, Postimage.org. where I post my images from, say they got locked by the registry. whatever that means. They say they hope to get it resolved, but all my pictures might be gone, that I posted from there. And there are tons of them. They say they have changed their name to postimage.cc. But I cant find it with a search. So I might be out of luck on this and any of my other builds. Stay tuned.

I guess i will have to start using imgur. Thats where this image came from. Its harder to use so the number of photos will be less.

Thanks, Gary. I didnt lose them, but to get them to appear again, I will have to go back and find where I posted them, and change the hundreds of links associated with them. Dont know if i care to do that.

Exactly, I have over 130 pics in my junior johnson 63 chevy wip alone. Neal over at "short track" wants to use a couple of them for shock reference so I will try to fix those first.
