Nice! I recently got this kit. It's a tour de force of plastic modeling kit design. Several modelers I know who specialize in these high-detail modern Japanese sports car kits have told me the key is to treat each sub-assembly as a kit in itself and to patiently work your way through each of them. It looks like you're taking that approach, too. Clean paint detailing, effective color choices, and sanitary assembly are critical, I would think. Again, you're on the mark with your project.

I'd like to know more about the paints you are using (brands, type, colors chosen) and how they have been applied (airbrush, brush, rattle can). Also, the carbon fiber decals you've chosen are quite dramatic. Whose are they? And do you plan on painting over them? On Paganis a common styling touch is to use transparent colors over the CF so that it's still visible but the car is not black as it would be with the CF bare or under clear.

I'll definitely be following this project closely as I plan to tackle this kit once I cut my teeth on some other, more familiar, subjects as a warm up.

Thanks for sharing!

That's a superb model, and your paintwork and carbon fibre decal skills are top level.  Thanx for showing.  Cheers
