AMT 33 Willys Gasser Done.

I started on this one. I painted the body in the fall so I wouldn't be held up by the winter weather.

Definitely a cool project. I have the coupe drag race car that came with a DOHC Ford 427, but the engine was gone when I got it. Maybe one of these days it will get a Hemi or Big Block Chevy.

And more. Thanks for the comments, they help to motivate. Motor in and compounding the paint.

More pictures. I wanted to get some interior shots before I put the body on. It is a nice kit with no major problems building it so far.

I had to buy another kit to get the missing wheel. I didn't want to do this but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm planning to do a 55 Corvette gasser and figured that some of the extra parts might come in handy this build. Then I started playing around and found a pretty nice fit. I think I have enough skills to make this work. The Vette body is up higher because the Willys interior is holdind it up.

Willys decals are done and a coat of Future is on.

Looks good, John. That rig has some serious attitude. Nice work.
