I really like the quarter treatments.  The rust is bubbling right up through the paint.  Looks very authentic.

I guess the soapbox car just came back from the DD!

Just keep picking away at it...

While the back was exposed I tried to get the dope box in...

This way perhaps????

Then I remembered buying a ''get yer dope box intae yer Elcamino'' tool recently. Laugh

Just keep picking away at it...

The Camaro reminds me of Crash to Pass nights at our local Saratoga Speedway.  Awesome job

Starting on the ute, using foil to represent home made parch repair panels.

Rockers and lower 1/4s always go no matter what the vehicle.

Same with the inner wheel housing.

So there I was in Halfords asking about an exhaust, they had one so it was mine.

Thought I would pop into Ford to see about a rear panel and bumper to replace some dented ones..

So there I was going down the starting straight as Smallfields raceway in my trusty rusty Rover when I spot this yank motor buried in the back of an Oxford....

Could I resist ploughing into her rear? heck no way....

They might get another race out of her, then it is the DD for her!

Started the damage on the front.

Not quite so bad but...

Starting on the rear, since this pic the rear 1/4 has been completely removed with the spring behind the axle for a  HARD hit!

The gas tank had to be amputated...

Along with a front inner fender and lower rear 1/4

Mockup..

In for a penny etc.........

Going for a Camaro as a banger, according to my timeline the car would be 23 yrs old....So no repro panels back then plus being in England it would have little real worth!
