Finally finished this one. Its a Dale Jr. Revell snap kit. Tamiya paint and my own ink jet decals created on my computer and printed on my Brothers printer. Took 36 hours to do the decals. The whole project took 78 hours. I had to do some scratch work on the grille, headlight, front spoiler area to make it more look like the real car.

Here is pictures of the real car. I watched this car race on Mavtv one saturday night and could not believe the moves this driver was making. The race was held at the Duquoin State Fair grounds in Illinois. Its a 1 mile flat dirt track probably used mostly for horse racing. I'm not sure. If you have never heard of this driver, you will. He is very talented. He did not win the race because the car faded at the end but he was the class of the field for sure.

Nice tribute to one of the "little guys". Your usual "tweaks" and crisp decal work make a nice variation of this kit. Thumbs Up

That is so well done.

Tom, I just used the kit tires and put dirt tire decals on them. I was thinking of doing a decal for the treads but decided it was too much trouble. The pavement general tires are red and white letter tires and say general on top and bottom instead of general grabber in white like the dirt tires have.
