2017 Acura NSX in "Valencia Red"
Posted by baycolony on Thursday, September 14, 2017 4:43 PM

Just finished this one.  Gravity Colors "Valencia Red" tri-coat pearl and Studio 27 Carbon Fiber decals as per the Acura option.  Hope you like it. Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Great looking model . Superb detailing .

I watched the new NSX on Jay Leno's Garage Youtube , with the rather nice Blonde  designer speaking about it ..... I almost forgot there was a car to be honest , but I do like it none the less Wink

Like it? I love it!  Are those side mirrors two piece? I ask because the black trim around them is so sharply done that I find it hard to believe its been masked and painted, but then, the whole car looks real, so whadda I know. You did a great job with the C.F. decal on the dash and the paint job is outstanding.

Thanks gents, and Mike, the mirrors are one piece and painted partly free hand and partly masked then hand painted.  Interestingly, although Tamiya calls out the painting details, there is no demarcation line on the part to guide you.  This includes the white for the directional light as well.
