You really nailed it! That's a fantastic rig! Nice replication! Thanks for bringing us along once again. Wow

Oh man, that is totally awesome.  I've been watching this build come together and wasn't really sure where it was going.  I used to sit on my grandmother's front porch beside US-421 (the original) during race week and watch the cars go by on the way to North Wilkesboro Speedway.  I probably have seen this rig go by.  Pioneer Chevrolet in Yadkinville has sponsored Rex White before.  I miss those days of the real NASCAR.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

G'day texwardfan.  The truck is another great build from you, and with the sedan on the trailer they look so good together.  Thanx for the wip, it's always good to see how various problems are solved.  Cheers

Thanks, Steve. its always fun to bring people along in real time on these build journeys. When I start out on one I really dont know if I will get to finish it. One thing I missed till after I posted the final photos. I did not know that I had knocked one of the mirror struts loose from the left mirror. When I realized it, i wasnt about to go back and re do all of the photos. Thanks for your interest in the project.

Here is a colored picture of the trailer. Looks like its been through the ringer since that black and white picture was taken. The car too. I painted the underside of the trailer red oxide primer like you see on parts of the trailer in the colored picture. I forgot to take an underside shot of the trailer when I was doing the final photos.

Very cool build, Tex. I love to see an authentic race team build, and you nailed this one. Excellent work!

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
