I've always thought those Zakspeed Turbo Capri's were awesome looking race cars; I'll be watching your progress on these builds!

What is the quality of the Belkits model? I have never seen one of those.

I had the Capri when it first came out years ago. I have two of the Belkits rallycars on the shelf and on checking the parts/decals etc, they are very good quality.

That's a couple of interesting choices, Nigel. Like the others here I am keen to check out both of these builds. I am Belkits curious, and I have been debating getting one of those Tamiya Capris for years. Cheers.

Wow! quite an interest, well the bel kits quality is pretty good even though on one British site they are quite anal about the floors. No

Having driven but never owned a Capri they are brilliant - but dodgy in the wet being tail happy.Whistling

Funniest thing I saw was a Capri 'parked' into a skip (dumpster) on a well light straght road - methinks mr booze was involved!

Thanks for posting those pics, Nigel. It looks like a very nice kit. No engine I see, but chassis detail looks complete. Engraved detail looks good. Overall it seems an excellent kit. Should make for a good build.

Bill the Capri had a 85ci engine turboed of course..

Got the Fiesta sprayed today, being a new mould it required very little cleanup.

Started on the decals,a mixed bag as there are so many compound curves on the fester...

While on the carpi they are breaking up,so it will take some time.

The quality looks great on the Belkits. The decals look good so far. Looks like you will need a lot of softening solution for them.
