Sat the parts in the bath and cleaned with some sanding. Got a coat of primer on.

Hope to get some putty on and sand.

Taking form!   Extremely interesting for me to watch your progress as one of the projects that I'm doing the planning for right now is to make a 72 Chevelle into a 71 Chevelle.   It will be to replicate the 1:1 71 that my son and I rebuilt for his first car.   His did not have a vinyl top, but I'm going to do a 67 Chevelle right behind his that did have a vinyl top back in the day.

What did you use for the trim pieces for the top and what kind of texturing did you use to simulate the vinly top?   Keep up the good work!   I'll be watching this one with great interest.  Just curious . . . do you remember where you got the engine for this?   Isn't that a TH400 backing the engine?

Love it, great build. I am getting ready to do the same kit, but just like bridgebuster, I am coverting it to a 71 to match the 1;1 I used to own. I just got my conversion kit for the front end. The color that you used, sesame......? is it a type of green?
