1955 Bel Air
Posted by acmodeler01 on Friday, July 11, 2008 7:08 AM

Here is my 1/32 1955 Bel Air. I built it from the Revell Snap kit packaged as the "Black Widow" over the last week or so. I made it for my mom's birthday since she is "not 50", and neither is the car. It's straight from the box with the exception of BMF for most of the chrome. The bumpers, pipes, grille and blower intake are all Alclad. As it was a quick build for a non nit-picker who doesn't know much (if anything) about models, I didn't even bother to remove mold seams or use any filler. I guess I can call it a painting exercise; this is my first two-tone job and I'm practicing my finishing with Tamiya sprays w/out polishing. Anyway..On to the pics!
