My Hi-boy Tuner
Posted by mpmodeler on Friday, May 16, 2008 12:58 PM

The inspriation for this project came from an old sketch pad article about creating your own bench racers using Ford Hi-boys and high tech compnents. So with that in mind I dropped a turbo-six cylinder and 4 link air ride suspension into this project.

This project was all about the kit bashing. The body and frame were the only thing to come out of the orriginal kit. The power plant, seats and rear alxe are from the Fast and the Furious Supra kit. Wheels and air-ride suspension were hacked from other kits. Paint is a factory Toyota sage green. This was my first project without hours or customising in a long time. In fact the longest part may have been sourceing all of the parts.
