The master was sent over from Finland, but sadly it hasn't been available yet. Any words on this proces`? Will it happen at all? I know the Finns are doubtful and disappointed........
QUOTE: Originally posted by the dog Well hopefully I'll be able to post pictures up of the finished master early next week. Tapari Rauramo made the original master as a body only. He did send door pads, dash, and bumpers along as well, but that leaves too much to be scratch built. Finding the time to do all the finish work has been like pulling teeth, but we're on it now. I needed to add a lot to make it a kit. It's being done so that you can use the Herbie kit, or the Tamiya as a donor. I think the Fujimi may work too, but I haven't tried it. The Type III will be released November 19th at the NNL North in Detriot. If your in the area drop by. It was a great show last year, and a good time was had by all. First year show had over 700 models on the table, and it looks like it will go by that this year. Randy Frost That IS really great news!! I was hoping that the rumours I heard was just a bit pessimistic, and that this baby would really happen. I do appreciate the work involved in preparing masters for casting, as I've done a bit of the stuff my self. And that's only smaller parts, can't imagine what's involved with a full body.... I'll be waiting for this, like a child as December is ticking on to Christmas..... I hope that someone will announce it on this forum as soooooon as this is available for shipping.... Perry's Resin
