A board member could use a little help.....

We all know how hard it can be to find certain kits, especially out of production kits . From what I understand, it can be darned near impossible if you live south of the border to find many things that we here in the US take for granted . Many ebay sellers will not ship out of the US.
Jorge Mejia from Cancun, Mexico is a big time AMC fan and posts here often. I know from his posts that he would love to get his hands on some Javelins or AMXs.
If any of you know of or have any AMC kits that you could hook him up with let me know. I'm sure that we could find a way to shop for him and ship to him.

The club that I belong to meets this Sunday. One of the members is a huge AMC fanatic. He has more AMC models than I knew existed. When I see him I will ask if he has anything that he is willing to part with and reply back.

Just got home from the club meeting. The member that I spoke of has some extra Pacers, Matadors and AMX's. Now he just has to go talk to the modeling gods to see if he can part with any of them. You know how people get attached to their models, even when they aren't built yet. Seriously, he is going to look at what he can part with and get back to me. I will let you know!

I just sent a '69 AMX to Jorge today. Postage was only around 5 bucks. Had to fill out a tiny customs form that states what is in the pkg. and whether or not it is a gift.
Very easy. If any of you get any leads on an AMC kit.please let me know.
