Hello custom car fans in whatever scale:
I am happy to tell you that my custom clinic web site (www.CustomClinic.com) web site has just been updated with dozens of new photos of
full size cars as well as many more scale customs. We have new photos of the Limelighter, the Marquis, a handful of recently constructed photos in a traditional style, and more bibliographic references for many cars. Also, the Small Scale section features a new custom from
Juha Airio (a beautiful '60 Ford Starliner) and more on a replica of the Mustang Vivace that was built by Dearborn Steel Tubing in 1964.
There is also an updated report on my Dream Truck2 (with photos never seen before), as well as an update on my scale tribute to Valley Custom -- a sectioned, significantly restyled '49 Ford.
The site is absolutely without cost, and free of any offensive material (the family can look through it without fear).
Later this Spring, we'll be uploading a critique section on my New Age Merc that is covered in the current issue of Scale Auto and will be featured in the following two issues. There will be a lot of photos of NAM, plus some pretty tough critics from the likes of Juha Airio, Rik Hoving and others.
If you have a great model custom, or are willing to loan me pictures of your favorite full-size custom car, please contact me and we'll feature your work or those photos (credit given, of course). Go to the page for contact information.
Thanks for your time.
The Potentate of Polyester Putty,
Mark S. Gustavson
