I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.

That's a very cool build up of the Testors/Jimmy Flintstone kit. I've got that one tucked away, waiting for me to work my way down to it! Big Smile

As noted above by Car Mod Dave,it is Jimmy Flintstones Tryclopse. The car is actually aTucker. The same one that the movie, Tucker a man and his dream.Scrappyj The color is HOK kandy Brandy wine 5 coats over HOK Solar gold shimrin with 2 coats of UC 35 Kosmic Klear on top of it all.The car has not been rubbed out.I dearly love urethane clear!Till you screw it up.Then you scrap it and start over.I cant seem to find a Plastic friendly method to strip it.Although I am thinking that you might be able to use the Duplicolor sandable primer for the primer you may be able to sand through to plastic or at least the base coat and drop her in brake fluid.hopefully this would soften the primer and it would let go bringing everything on top with it.I will have to try this and get back to you.Back to the kit.It is only a curbside/slammer kit.It comes with a body, chassis plate, photo etched rear grill and script clear cast headlights 4 tires and 4 pewter rims and 2 side view mirrors.I chuked the rims up in my lathe and started with 600 grit sandpaper and worked up to 2000 wet then polished them with Wenol polish and painted the recesses. Thanks for the compliments.
