'29 Ford Pick up. Kinda old school....
Posted by Slabbedask on Saturday, January 24, 2004 3:51 PM
Here's a few pic's of an A-Ford pick up I did about a year ago. It's based on AMT's old Woody/Pick up kit, and is built in the classic old school style that I like best. The carbs, head, and some other small engine stuff are resin copies from other kits I have laying about. I usually make molds of stuff that I think I might find useful later. Likewise the wheels, resin copies of the Ala Kart. Homemade exhaust, gear shifter, pickup bed (wood ) and an MCG banjo steering wheel.(Love those...) Paint is a homemixed matt acrylic greenish blue, and I think it turned out quite well...

I really like the old school look, and you have done an excellent job here!

Wide whites, stacks through the hood, and a cool gearshift knob. What more could you want in life?!

I love it. The twin carb flatty is super cool.

I'm an old school kind of guy. Nice rod. you can never build too many of those.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.
