48 Chevy pics
Posted by 1320wayne on Saturday, January 24, 2004 2:58 PM
I built this model well over a year ago and had a lot of fun doing it. I'm really a drag fanatic and mopars but for some reason I saw this real car in a calendar and something powerful inspired me to want to build it, despite the fact that it is a Chevy. Hope ya like!

Hey Wayne, Iv'e seen your build many times in the magazines. Iv'e always loved that car. Incredible build! The first thing I thought when I first saw it in a mag was, "Such a clean style." Very nice indeed. Check out the "Chezoomier" thread and tell me what you think. I'd love to hear comments from a seasoned builder. Me, iv'e only been building serious since 2001, but I could use all the advice I can get for future builds. Take care and nice meeting you!

Call me stupid, but I can't find the Chezzoomier thread. What heading should I be looking under?

Well, I guess I can't ever get Mopars out of my head because the purple is Plum Crazy. The Orange is Chevrolet Orange Engine Enamel. It is the most appropriate color orange that I could think of.

Nice car!! I like the front end, and the rake makes it look mean.
We'll let you off on the chevy thing.

If Chevy made their neww SSR like that instead of a truck, Id buy it iin a heartbeat. Great rod.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.
