Vantastic

For those of you who have seen my other stuff you will quickly realize this is something completely different for me.

When I built this a few years ago, I thought I was on to something with Slammers but at the very first contest I put it in is when I first met the Master Custom/Slammer builder Steve Boutte and realized this is not my bag.

This Vantastic is painted Panther Pink with the fenders, grille and trim painted with Exhaust Metalizer and clear coated.

While I do think it is a pretty cool looking ride, it pales in comparison to what Steve and a whole bunch of other guys like him can do with slammers and curbsides.

I went to a "gentleman's club" because the sign said they had all the hottest models. I thought it was a hobby shop. Man, was I ever disappointed.

The background.....those photos were taken in my backyard....everything you see is real. The base is plywood covered with model railroad gravel.
