AMT 1967 Monza Corvair
Posted by IBuild1/48 on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 9:05 PM

I want to start building the AMT 1967 Monza Corvair Yenko.

Before I do, since and I am not a Corvair expert I was wondering if anyone had engine colors (Block, Oil Pan, Etc) pictures or other referances?

Also was the Turbocharger engine or Carb Engine Used for the Yenko?

Any other insights or recommendations if you have build this kit are most welcome.

The Yenko modified Corvair (called the Yenko Stinger) was not the Monza, but was a modified Corsa. They had highly modifies engines, but were not turbo cars.

Your best bet would be to google 'Yenko Stinger' or 'Yenko Corvair' to get boned up on these very cool cars. Do an image search, too. There should be lots of info out there.
