Greased Lightning

I just finished Revell's Greased Lightning. It's a good kit, it went together well. I added some hubcaps from my parts box, everything else came from the kit.

looks fabulous. it's a good rendition of the car. if only revell had made the rear license plate recessed it would be right on the movie car. i built one before a kit was available for it from the stock 48 ford kit.

Thanks. The kit actually came with a custom piece for the rear plate but it wasn't correct either, so I figured, six of one...

Turned out great, I like that you cut the decals and did not put them over the moldings!

Great job! Has anyone seen a kit done of the "dream" car from the end of the movie?

Uncle Billiam

There was an ad in Scale Auto way back, saying that All American Models had a kit of the Dream Machine. I've been after one since, but have never seen one in person or even listed for sale anywhere, so I don't know if the kit was ever actually produced or if it was just speculative.
