Since the paint on my monte will not strip off with purple power or oven cleaner , i set it aside and started this on a whim.

You soaked it in the Purple pond and oven cleaner and you can still polish it up? OMG !

The Vicky is a nice kit and with your stance is gonna look great.

I had polished it. Only thing i can think of is pores may be so tight nothing can get in.

Added some length to the frame and accidently glue the rear further back, but i like it so i left it. Bought the 51 chevy for the stovebolt six. Will have to fab some motor mounts.

Better pic.

Think i have my paint scheme. Gonna try an old police job. Flat black in place. A day or two of drying, then do the doors in white. I think i have a decal kit to try and make a star decal. Then sand and fade the paint. Changed the front rims. Gloss black over the chrome. Want to try and make the cut on the chop look like it was done and not painted yet. Any ideas how to do that? Let me know. I really need to be working on my CBP.

Srry i missed this.

I looked at rat rod paint jobs, none stood out. Lots of cool ones. But wanted a true rat rod look. Not done, what ever parts. I remember seeing one that used tuna cans as tail light housing. Thought that was cool. But i do not think polly pocket ever had tuna cans.
