Old Twentysomething Ford P/U. Done pictures.

I started this the other day while I do some touch up on the 37 gasser I'm doing. It is a simple kit and I'm doing a few things to spice it up a little. I'm using the motor from the 37 Chevy so it will have a six cylinder instead of the small block Chevy.

On a suggestion from some one I lowered the front a little and I used the Tires from a gasser wheel and tire pack to get the smaller tires on the front. I also trimed the body panels off that were on the frame and came up by the motor. This pcture doesn't show in this set of pictures as I'm still working on that part. I also plan on doing the spark plug wires on this one.

Nice start. I have this sitting somewhere. Seems to have a bit of potential.

Thanks, Here's an update.

I didn't like the bulky look of the bed so I took the upper sides off and cut a wood bed fit it. Also started the plug wires.

It's really a dark purple, but the light changes the color some.

I painted the interior and flocked the floor, made a wood bed floor to spice it up a little along with a tarp that is another piece of wood covered with a piece of throw away hand towel painted in the interior color.

Motor is ready to go in but I wasn't able to make the plug wires come out the way I wanted.

I had to give up on the plug wires. The headers from the 37 Chevy work outed well with the kit exhaust. Just needed a little trimming to look OK.

I'm loving the six!

I've been wanting to do a six for a while. The 37 Chevy couldn't have gone in any easier. It was like it was made for this model.

Finished pictures.
