1937 Ford - Finished
Posted by JohnnyK on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 1:35 PM

Hi,

Following is my Revell 1937 Ford. The car is pretty much built "out of the box" except for the aluminum air cleaner and distributor (Parts by Parks). The base color is Testors' Diamond Dust with Transparent Blue. Both paints are rattle can. I like the look of the car because it looks like a traditional Hot Rod. By the way, the instruction manual for this model is really bad http://cs.scaleautomag.com/sca/modeling_subjects/f/30/t/125041.aspx

Nice looking model Johnny, good work of the engine bay, that air cleaner looks great!

Nice build, Johnny. The colours are beautiful and the paint looks great. Nice work!

The paint scheme for my car was inspired by a 1934 car that I saw at the Volo Illinois car museum.

Nice work, Johnny! That transparent blue over the diamond dust is perfect! I used the diamond dust with blazing black as a two-tone on a 56 Chevy and it came out good too! The diamond dust really sparkles! Yours looks great! Cool Thumbs Up
