I used A pearl white base coat , then fogged with an Irridencence red to create a interesting paint fade !

Big E I think that is the best looking Silhoutte build I have seen.    I am surprised that kit will still build well being it has been around since Lyndon Johnson was in office.   I think I have two or three in the stash but have never had the nerve to jump in on one.   I built one years ago, '64 I think, unpainted with gloo smears and wore it out pushing it around in the floor.   I have always wanted to do one right.  Nice job.

Nicely done! Along with many others here, I remember well when these cars were hitting the show tour and your build captures the essence perfectly. Anyone who has tried the fade technique will surely appreciate your paint job. BeerBeerBeer
