Model A Trackster - THIS WAS FUN!!
Posted by Treehugger Dave on Sunday, April 7, 2013 11:06 AM

Thought this would be nice to share.

Built this some time back. Never in a contest. Just built for my own enjoyment like many others.

Thought maybe some here might enjoy this Big Smile.

Really extended the front  of the hood, added a mini-hinge, and custom made side panels. Stripped the chrome from the grill-shell and painted it. Scratch built the chassis, with a couple of parts box pieces added to it, and the chassis stepped up in the rear for the shortened bed to sit on. Windshield was chopped and chromed, and the top was made from spare pieces and filler to get the right shape and look. Added lots of nice chrome pieces, and some period type decals to finish it off Big Smile

Enjoy.

Thanks for lookin' - Dave

Wow Dave that track roadster is drop dead gorgeous as you really "nailed it." Many thanks for posting it again as I don't believe that I saw it the first time around.

Hey old buddy, as usual, you blow my mind. That is one cool roadster. great color and enough chrome to make it shine.

How you been my friend. I haven't been here much in the last 6 months or more. Looks like I'll have to check in more often. God bless and keep up the great work
