Willys Streetrod

  • Hi, this a revell 41 willys street rod i have been working on. I started out by wedge sectioning the body to drop the front end, glued the hood down so just the top opens. A c6 revell corvette gave up it's engine, drivetrain and suspension for this build. The wheels are pegasus cl 19&23 , the center cap came from one of the amt 50's cars 4-pack. The color on top and bottom is bmw sonora met, the center is vw harvest moon beige. I am waiting for flocking  to arrive before I can finish the interior. I have yet to install the exhaust and brakes, that should be done this weekend.

Thanks for taking the time to look, feel free to point out anything I could have done or  tried diffrently. Bill

  • Thanks for the compliments guy. I will try to post clear and closer pictures of the engine and chassis once the exhaust is installed this weekend.

    Thanks again, Bill

  • Awesome build.  The section gives it a great look.  I also like the retro look with the two tone and wheels.  Do you have any in progress pictures?
