Wow, that looks totally sharp! I love the look of these when
they're done in some color besides white with the stripes.
If this is typical of what you can build, you simply must post
more stuff!

Wow!

What an AWESOME model you got there!!!

Very much detailed, opened doors and trunk... everything needed to be perfect is there!!!

I think i would never push the detail on a model as far as you did, very pleasing to look at!

I like it very much!!

Congratulations!

I must agree with all of the other replies...this build leaves me in awe. Only four months to completion, to include all of the modifications and details?! I especially appreciate your under hood detailing...the decals, vacuum hoses, etc. We've been blessed with two beautiful AMC builds this weekend....the 69 AMX and your Rebel. I too would like to see more AMC kits released, but realistically, I doubt if it would happen. Take a well deserved bow....bravo! Bow Fury3

As many times as I've enamoured myself with the pics of this outrageous Rebel Machine , I have not yet been able to muster-up the words to describe how much I absolutely L-O-V-E it !

Without sounding patronising or trite , I'm going to simply state that your Rebel is the absolute BEST rendition of this kit I've ever seen , bar none !

Then , I read about how you built this thing in a mere 4 months ! Are you a neurosurgeon ??? I don't thing I'd ever have the constitution to build something anywhere near the precision and patience that you bestowed-upon this kit !

I'm looking quite forward to seeing more of your sublime builds Make a Toast

Would like to see your Coronet as a W.I.P. if at all possible Thumbs Up

Thank you very much for the much too kind words.

All I can say is , "I just love Muscle cars" . I've studied them with an eagles eye over the past 10 years. Books, magazines, brochures, car shows, this board and others like it. What's fun is that I'm still learning from our model car pioneers who have great techniques and from our present builders who have new and exciting angles of building. I'm sure that you can build a model replica like this, just study your references and go for it. Thanks again very much '73 Duster.

Yes, the AMCs are getting covered well to start 2010! The engine bay on this is gorgeous! Very authentic-looking. And the interior is spiffy as well. AMC had some decent designs in the late 60's and early 70's, very bold. Too bad their quality and tech lagged so badly.

Thanks for the inspiring post Approve

You have done a terrific job on this Machine! Underhood and interior detail are outstanding, and the color combo is beautiful. Opening the doors and trunk are a great addition. Looks like a 1:1 to me, congrats!Bow   Oh yeah, I dig the license plate too!

I also would like to see this kit reissued. I would love to have one of these sitting on my shelf.

I saw your AMC at the Toledo 2009 NNL. I think you were parked next to one of my cars at the show! Nice Job! That best of pony class was a tough one!

Thanks guys!

I always see alot of great builds at the Toledo show! I loved the new location, it had way more light and we were not in that little cramped room of the past! Big Smile

I hope to see you next year!
