08 Bullitt Mustang Finished!

I knew after nearly trading my 1:1 06 GT to one of these 08 Bullitt's brand new back in June, that when I saw the kit at Hobbytown a few weeks ago I just had to build it. So here is my most recent finished project, Revell's 2008 Bullitt Mustang. The finish is Testors Laquer Fathom Green Metallic, it was the closest thing I could find to the Dark Highland Green of the 1:1 production car. I started out filling the spoiler holes with putty, then primed it; after primer I layed a coat of Tamiya British Green on Followed by the Fathom green, and seven coats of Tamyia clear coat. I then sanded and polished the car. The wheels were originally chrome, I shot a coat of Model Master flat black on them, and then Gunmetal. I did the same with the strut tower brace, it was molded in chrome, I sprayed it aluminum. Overall the kit was a nice build, I had a fit problem with the right side of the winsheild; something that will be fixed in future builds. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for looking! Next up a 2006 Mustang GT custom, and 2007 Shelby GT500.

On the bench
69 Shelby GT500
50 Ford F-1 Custom
Revell Germany Ferrari 612
Mustang FR500C Clone
Still in the box: 68 Mustang Bullitt
Mustang II Fire Fighter.
And a 1:1 06 GT in the garage I keep adding too.
Yeah I'm a Mustang kind of guy.
