go right ahead and build one Smile

Not everyone of us is gonna be doing a exact copy of one another's building style, everyone probably has something different in their building styles. The picture is just an idea to start me off on the 67 impala.

That looks fantastic like that. Do you mind if I steal your idea and build one of my own?

really cool there Night_stone.....reminds me of one I used to drive back in the early ' 80's.............................................................................................. except it was a four door post car...............................................................................................and white walls just weren't cool then.......
I like the lowered stance and the body colored wheels myself....

I agree. Keep it in the weeds, and put the black wheels back on it. Smooooth.

nahhh, maybe you`re right. it did look better with the black wheels, didnt it?
but it does look better lowered.

I went to a "gentleman's club" because the sign said they had all the hottest models. I thought it was a hobby shop. Man, was I ever disappointed.

ok, matching body color wheels and lowered, it just doesn't see to have that grab me factor as the black wheels.

That's sweet..........here's an idea! paint the rims the same color as the car... :)
that should give a decent contrast with the moon hubcaps.

The red doesn't move me either, to extreme a contrast in my opinion.

But remember if somethin's not rubbing it's not low enough, try it with the wheels painted red that would give it a cool 50s look

I like the lower pic better. The color is a bit deeper and the lower suspension gives it a better look.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.

Its a 67 Chev Impala SS, with wide whitewall tires on a blue pearl bodycolor. and shaved door handles.

Here is another shot, but with a lowered suspension.

I use Paintshop Pro 8 for my graphics. I started by scanning the picture off the kit box, then paste an image of the white wall tire. The tire is one of the images I had saved from Coker tire manufacturer. Paintshop Pro 8 allows me to do more than copy and paste, the tools they have in the program are just awesome.

I can try to make one as a lowered look.
