Hi gang, the road runner I'm working on is on hiatus until I am able to get some more reference pics of the real 1:1 I am working on.
In the meantime, I had a friend of mine drop the MPC Sundancer kit by and a can of red paint. He too wants a replica of his car done:



Here is the freshly painted body. It needs another sanding and a final coat, but it is close:



I cannot belive how simplified this kit is. I have had to go through my AMT 69 400 and Trans Am kits to get the car closer to his as well as salvage some wheels out of the parts box. All in all I am having a great time building these for my friends.
I tried out one new thing here. A pigment pen in the door lines etc... I used it before primer and after every primer coat. The results as you can see in the picture show darker lines. Exactly what I was hoping for.

supermacks, the pen I use is a Pigma micron 005 or 0.20mm line width.
