Adding wheels & tires to an el camino.
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, January 23, 2004 9:38 AM
Looking to add performance tires to my el camino (77).

Going to add crate engine 400+ horses.

Need to know if 265/55 16's are recommended, or what?

Researching polyurethane bushing kits from JC Whitney or whomever to replace old exhausted bushings/front-rear.

any advice?

man,i dont mean to sound smart or anything, but this is a MODEL car forum. but anyway, your ideas sound fine. polyurethane bushings are much better.

I went to a "gentleman's club" because the sign said they had all the hottest models. I thought it was a hobby shop. Man, was I ever disappointed.
