2010 Camaro SS
Posted by homeroV8 on Saturday, January 11, 2020 8:43 AM

As a matter of fact, the Camaro I really wanted so bad to replicate was my own 2014 SS Red Hot, but there is no such kit, and no conversions do exist as far as I know. If anybody is aware of 2014-2015 conversions, please just let us know. Essentially it's done, though there are finishing touches to be made (a "rock chip" materialized from nowhere onto the hood), lower grille needs to be repainted, excellent  decals (by Keith Marks) needs to be  applied. Stance is a little on the high height and wheels should stand a little  toward inner  wheel well. A very, very nice kit indeed.

Looks good, Homero! Beautiful paint! Although I drove a Camaro for 20 years (various models 1985 through 2001) I am not as familiar with the new body styles. What's the difference between a 2010 and a 2014? Nice job on your 2010! Cool Thumbs Up

If you cannot have a good time, what kinda time can you have? JR

Next on the bench:  Another 1970 Hemi 'Cuda, 1958 Chevy Impala, 1987 Buick GNX, 1950 Chevy Pick-up, Indy Reynard, 1965 Corvette, probably not in this order.

Thanks, Jr! The 5th gen Camaros (2010-2015) underwent a facelift (called phase 2) in 2014  with revised front and rear fascia, hood, wheels and interior, besides introduction of the Chevrolet My Link media connection.

looks fabulous. nice paint really makes the model.

it looks like Revell went from 2013 model then to the 2016 model. looks like you'll need to rely on garage kits or your own skill to make the 2014 updates.

I did see some 1/38 scale 2014, if that suits?

There is a seller named Plamoz who offers a resin conversion to do a 2014 Z28,i'm sure you could probably use some of the parts to build your 2014 camaro.

Thanks a lot mclovin,  I just bought the trans kit, it seems  excellent and the number of parts is amazing. Really all the guy´s portfolio are amazing! It´s coming from Honk Kong, as soon as I put my hands on it I´ll post here my impressions.
