Revell 1966 Impala....
Posted by cruz missile on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 6:33 AM

Built this some time in 2010. Nice kit, really had fun putting it together. Tires are Replicas and Miniatures resing Good Years. Paint is simply Testors Flat Red Enamel from the small bottles and Testors Wet Look Clear. The model was sent to a friend in Puerto Rico who owns a Model Car Museum.

Very nice! I just picked up this kit this past week end at a Model car show.

Looking forward to building especially now that I have seen yours.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Chevy, Cruz. Interesting finish.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

This is a beautiful build and that's a fact. I do have one question though.... How in the world did you get the "Wet Look" Clear Lacquer to work with the enamel paint without the lacquer clear destroying the enamel color coat?

Being really stupid is the new smart!!

Wet Look  clear is not a true lacquer, it's more of a modified enamel......
